Aerobic vs Resistance Exercise

When it comes to improving your health with type 2 diabetes, does it matter what kind of exercise you perform? Turns out, that they both have similar effects and only minor differences but, studies have shown, that aerobic exercise has a better influence on lowering blood glucose levels, or blood sugar.  However, when it comes to bettering your health and managing your diabetes, any type of exercise, including walking can be beneficial! Remember to stay active!

Aerobic exercise is exercise that typically improves circulation and helps burn calories; while resistance exercise is to build and strengthen muscle.
